The 1980s

The 980s saw a fall in abortion deaths to its current levels of approximately 10 per year. Although most of the deaths are due to malpractice and thus preventable, it is unlikely that the current political environment of turning a blind eye to abortion malpractice will change. Thus, probably an average of 10 women per year will lose their lives to abortion malpractice for the foreseeable future.
